Jordan Wine Estate’s Cold Fact Sauvignon Blanc is a distinctive expression of South African winemaking, hailing from the renowned Stellenbosch region. This wine is crafted using a “cold soak” technique, where the ripest Sauvignon Blanc grapes undergo pre-fermentation maceration. This process involves leaving the grapes on their skins for several hours or overnight at low temperatures, enhancing the extraction of intense flavours characteristic of this aromatic variety.

In the glass, the Cold Fact Sauvignon Blanc presents a straw-yellow hue with greenish highlights. The nose is greeted with aromas of blackcurrant leaf and ripe Cape fig, balanced by a complex fruit structure and sweet Provençal herbs. On the palate, it offers fresh acidity and a crisp minerality, culminating in a harmonious and refreshing finish.
