The 2020 Macushla is a barrel selection from the organically managed Kinross vineyard. The 16 year old vines grow in well drained soils consisting of wind blown glacial silts and free draining sandy loams.  A hot dry summer produced grapes of balanced ripeness and a gentle and unobtrusive winemaking approach delivered wine which reflects both site and season. Matured for 11 months in new(33%) and used French oak from Burgundy.
