This is a very iconic wine from Ribera Del Deuro in Spain. Made from predominately Tempranillo with a little bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, Unico 2006 is as good as it gets. Along side some floral notes and dark berries, you get , spice, cedar and mint. This vintage spent 2 years longer in oak than other vintages creating a really smooth, silky texture. It is full bodied, yet soft and complex with a finish that goes on for minutes.
