A blend of several white wine grape varieties with a touch of Sicilian Nerello Mascalese, these white grapes are cooled in the Venetian winds at some 300m above sea-level. Three months spent maturing in a pressurised vat gives an end-product of a crimson, rose-hued sparkling wine that is youthful in style. Peony petal, grapefruit and rose are apparent on the nose, while also exhibiting a warm, balanced palette that offers a silky finish. This sparkling wine makes an affable companion to shellfish or light pork dishes.
