Actor Sam Neill is as successful on screen as he is off with Two Paddocks, a small Pinot Noir vineyard in Central Otago, New Zealand which he set up in 1992.  Picnic Pinot Noir shows aromas of black cherries, raspberry combined with sweet spice.  It is medium bodied with silky tannins and an invigorating level of acidity.  There is great fruit content on the palate with a long and lingering finish.  This is a very food friendly wine, so don’t be afraid to pair it up with your favourite dish!
