2017 was described as a “one of a kind vintage” producing Sangiovese grapes with intense concentration a depth of flavour. This wine was aged for 10 months in French Oak. The aromas are dominated by ripe raspberry fruit andcandied apples, followed by floral notes and nutmeg. The powerful nose gives way to an elegant balance of expressive fruit. The palate follows with tart cherrypie, red licorice, and sweet tobacco. A long finish shows hints of ceder. This wine will develop well with careful cellar aging.
