Primitivo is a full bodied varietal which is native to Puglia in Southern Italy. The grapes for this wine have been made in the appassimento style (drying of the grapes) this wine has an intense ruby colour and a pronounced nose of ripe cherries, plums and dried fruits such as figs, dates and raisins. It’s deliciously smooth and ready to enjoy now with Oates red meat and mature cheese.
