Shortcross Bartender Series Gin is a vibrant, fruit-led expression handcrafted at the Rademon Estate Distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland. This special edition was designed in collaboration with bartenders to create a bold and versatile gin that remains unmistakably juniper-forward, yet layered with rich fruit complexity.
Distilled using fresh grapefruit, raspberries, apples, blackberries, and pears harvested from the estate’s historic Walled Garden, this gin celebrates the natural abundance of the land. On the nose, it delivers a burst of orchard and hedgerow fruits. The palate opens with lush berry notes and a classic juniper heart, developing into a creamy lemon sherbet finish.
Proudly foraged, distilled, and bottled by hand at Rademon Estate, this gin is the result of a distilling journey that began in 2012 when founders Fiona and David Boyd-Armstrong set out to redefine what Irish gin could be. Inspired by their local surroundings and driven by craftsmanship, they became the first distillers in Northern Ireland to produce a super-premium, small-batch gin.
The name Shortcross pays tribute to the nearby village of Crossgar, derived from the Irish An Chrois Ghearr—“the short cross”—and is proudly embossed on every bottle.
