The Montecorna vineyard benefits from an exceptional combination of ideal climatic and soil conditions, which contribute to the distinctive character of this cru. Using the traditional ripasso technique, the wine undergoes a second fermentation when the Valpolicella comes into contact with the pomace of Recioto or Amarone, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth and personality. Refined and elegant, it delivers a complete sensory experience—warm and inviting, penetrating yet beautifully harmonious. This elegant wine is crafted from a blend of 70% Corvina, 15% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara, sourced from the vineyards of San Pietro in Cariano, specifically in the Masua and Montecorna areas. The wine undergoes careful refinement, with 50% aged in Slavonian oak barrels and the other 50% in barriques, followed by further maturation in the bottle.

This wine presents an intense ruby red colour. The nose is complex and enticing, offering rich aromas of black cherry and overcooked plum jam, layered with delicate hints of vanilla, leather, and a subtle touch of toasted coffee. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping yet refined and harmonious, showcasing depth and balance.
