Powers John’s Lane Cask Strength is true to the original style of John’s Lane Distillery, which was renowned for its Pot Still Irish Whiskeys, bursting with flavour and character. Matured for at least 12 years, mainly in first fill American bourbon casks with a small contribution of distillate which has been matured in Oloroso sherry butts.
Notes of Woodland aromas and dried tobacco along with treacle toffee, black peppercorns and dried herbs on the nose
On the palate, rich pot still spice with vanilla, manuka honey and dried apricot before a finish of toasted oak wrapped with honey sweetness.
