This is the younger sibling of the great Brunello, produced from fruit sourced from the younger vines and aged for a shorter period; 12 months in oak barrels and 3 months in bottle in this case. The resulting wine is therefore youthful with vibrant, juicy red fruit characters commonly associated with Sangiovese. This is a very pretty, well acoompilished wine with plenty of character and personality.
