Founded in 2001, Weingut Peth-Wetz is led by husband-and-wife team Christian and Maja Luise Peth. The estate is located between Worms and Alzey in the heart of Rheinhessen, where 30 hectares of vineyards are planted across loess and limestone soils. As owner and cellarmaster, Christian combines local tradition with international insight, creating wines that are bold, confident, and true to their origin.

Christian’s winemaking philosophy was shaped by time spent in Chile, Australia, the USA, and at Geisenheim University in Germany. His wines reflect a bold style—rich, structured, and expressive—yet remain true to their terroir. Maja’s international background, including time in Luxembourg, Turkey, and Florida, contributes to their shared open-mindedness and global outlook.
