Paul Jabolet Gigondas 2015

Gigondas is a French appelation in The Southern Rhone that is considered to be the little brother to Chateauneuf-du-Pape. This wine is a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10 % Mourvèdre sourced from vines of an average age of 40 years old. Traditional wine making techniques and then aged for 6 months in oak casks, results in a wine that has an aromatic nose with red fruits developing into notes of macerated fruits. The palate is bold with strong tannins, finishing with great depth and length.
