Description
Nieto Senetiner has grown to become one of the leading stars of Mendoza. They are fortunate to own vineyards in virtually all of the best sub districts of Mendoza allowing them to produce typical and classic wines. Fruit is sourced by longstanding winemaker Roberto Gonzalez from Nieto’s older vineyards; aged between 40 -45 years.
This has a dark, dense complex nose with sweet cranberries, blackcurrants and earthy mocha characters. Ageing in French oak barrels for 18 months has created a palate that is smooth and rounded with evident yet supple tannins and a long intense pure black fruit finish, with hints of bitter chocolate. This Malbec was made for steak.
