The grapes for this white Portuguese blend comes from small vineyards that are planted in high altitudes, on the right side of Douro River. The fermentationt occurred in French oak barrels of 228 lts and aged for 10 months with the fine lees. The final result gives an impressive wine, with great intensity, freshness and minerality. Fruit aromas of fruit notes of lemon, orange and apricot are backed by a wet stone like minerality. The palate is very firm, with great complexity and freshness. The fruit character combines with white flower notes, almonds and nutty aromas. Redoma 2011 is very intense
and persistent in the palate, with great ageing potential.
