Founded in 1797 Maison Louis Latour has survived the ages and has become a natural custodian of Burgundy’s ancient traditions. Authentic and determinedly independent, the House has always made it a point of honour to remain family owned. Each generation has worked hard to preserve the company’s unique heritage whilst ensuring the future with an ambitious and visionary spirit.

The Latour family Domaine has been built up over the years with patience and determination, and today, covers 50 hectares of exceptional vineyard which are recognised each vintage for the quality of their wines.

Despite its enormous hectarage and output, the area of Chablis now produces less than 5% of what it did a hundred years ago. The lower yields and improved viticultural practices have made this wine a perrenial favourite. Maison Louis Latour selects sections of vineyards within Premier Cru appellations so that the quality of the fruit is guaranteed year after year.

Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with full malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 8 to 10 months, preserving its crisp, pure character.

The wine is a pale yellow colour with green hues. Its nose reveals notes of lime blossom, while the palate is round and fresh, with citrus fruit aromas. This wine offers a nice tension on the finish.
