The wine making philosophy Lapostolle adhere to when creating the Cuvee Alexandre range is elegance, balance, freshness and ageing potential. 91% of wine is fermented traditionally with native yeast; the further 9% underwent a carbonic maceration in order to enhance the primary fruit flavours of the varietal. The wine was then aged in French oak barrels adding spicy, oak characters which compliment the youthful, red fruit flavours.
