The wine making philosophy Lapostolle adhere to when creating the Cuvee Alexandre range is elegance, balance, freshness and ageing potential. The winemaking is very natural with minimal intervention in order to express the terroir of the Apalta vineyard. 12% Carmenere is added to the blend in order to enhance the spicy character, the immediate flavour on the palate is cassis, plum and cocoa. The tannins are firm and provide structure to the wine, which has a long, juicy finish.
