Langmeil Jackaman’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Some of the finest and rarest of the Barossa Valley’s Cabernet grapes.

Named after Arthur Jackaman, a WWII veteran who after retirement entrusted his plot of land to the Langmeil winery, planting vines in the 1960s during the Cabernet Revolution in South Australia.

And in tribute to him they have created a majestic and sumptuous Cabernet.

This wine has been allowed to mature in French oak for two years giving it a warmth and elegance.  The classic blackcurrant flavour is accented with an aspect of blueberry and rich briar fruits.  There is a savoury note of black olive and liquorice to finish this complex behemoth of a wine.

Potential to age for many years but it will still sing in the glass now.
