Baco Noir is a hybrid black grape variety produced by Francois Baco from a cross of Folle blanche, a French wine grape, and an unknown variety of Vitis riparia indigenous to North America. Henry of Pelham, a Canadian winery produced this wine which is a deep and dark. Ripe flavours of blackcurrant, plum and blueberry fruit. are accompanied with subtle toasty oak flavours and a spicy, rich and smooth finish.
