All Heartland wines are made by Ben Glaetzer with fruit from mature vineyards at Langhorne Creek and Limestone Coast in South Australia. The Director’s Cut Shiraz is Heartland’s flagship wine with only the finest selection of Shiraz from each vintage going into the wine. On the nose the wine displays ripe plum, blueberry, cinnamon and star anise spice, the palate is very round, ripe and generous with dark forest fruits, asian spices and dried herbs. The finish is very long and balanced with integrated tannins and a smooth chocolatey note. Drinking window: 2016-2030.
