Garzon Field Blend Rose

The Garzón estate is located just 11 miles from the Atlantic Ocean in Uruguay, close to the renowned coastal destinations of Punta del Este and José Ignacio. Surrounded by rolling hills, native forests and ancient granite soils, the vineyards are divided into more than 1,000 small blocks, each benefiting from its own unique microclimate. This diverse landscape, combined with careful vineyard management and the cooling influence of the Atlantic, allows the grapes to achieve exceptional freshness, balance and aromatic expression. Under the guidance of winemaker Germán Bruzzone and renowned consultant Alberto Antonini, Garzón has become one of South America’s most acclaimed wine producers.

This rosé is a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault, with all varieties harvested and vinified together to preserve freshness and harmony. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and cement tanks under controlled temperatures, followed by three to six months ageing on the lees in stainless steel tanks. This gentle approach enhances texture and complexity while maintaining the bright fruit character and mineral expression of the wine.

Delicately pale pink in colour, the wine opens with fresh aromas of cherry, wild berries and delicate floral notes. The palate is vibrant and fruit-driven, with flavours of ripe red cherries and subtle stone fruits supported by lively natural acidity. A crisp mineral finish reflects the granite-rich soils of the Garzón terroir, bringing freshness and elegance to every sip.

Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with tapenade, grilled prawns, crostini with olive oil and cherry tomatoes, or fresh goat’s cheese. It also complements Niçoise salad, grilled sole, lightly spiced Moroccan couscous and classic Provençal dishes such as ratatouille, grilled sardines and bourride.
