Farina is a family-owned winery with a deep-rooted legacy in Valpolicella. For generations, the Farina family has been at the forefront of quality winemaking in the area. The estate’s vineyards stretch across the rolling hills of Valpolicella Classica, the original and most esteemed part of the region. This area is marked by a unique combination of climate, soil, and altitude, which gives the wines their distinctive flavour profile. Farina’s meticulous attention to vineyard management, including organic and sustainable practices, ensures that the wines produced are a true reflection of their terroir.
Valpolicella wines are made primarily from indigenous grapes like Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, resulting in light to medium-bodied reds that range from fresh and fruity to complex and robust. Farina, as a producer, is especially noted for creating wines that embody the essence of the region while maintaining a sense of elegance and refinement.
Brilliant ruby red colour. It is fruity and delicate on the nose, with hints of cherry, plum and raspberry. On the palate it is dry but velvety and well balanced, with a pleasant soft, harmonious, enveloping base.
This is ideal with light pasta dishes, particularly those with tomato-based sauces, such as pasta al pomodoro or Bolognese. They also pair well with roasted chicken, grilled vegetables, and mild cheeses like Asiago or Mozzarella.
