Farina Bardolino Classico

Grown on the Moreniche Hills east of Lake Garda, Farina’s Bardolino DOC is a bright, fragrant red that captures the elegance of the Bardolino Classica region. With its fresh acidity, light body and vibrant personality, it’s an easy-drinking wine that shines year-round, particularly when lightly chilled during warmer months.

Farina is a family-owned winery with roots in Valpolicella Classica dating back to the early 1900s. Now led by the fourth generation, the estate champions sustainable practices and transparency across its 10 hectares of vineyards and trusted grower partnerships. Their focus on quality and respect for the land is reflected in every bottle. The blend of 60% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, and 15% Molinara and Rossara comes from hillside vineyards with volcanic, moraine and calcareous soils at altitudes up to 300 metres. Trained using a mix of traditional pergola and modern systems, the vines benefit from cooling lake breezes and are harvested by hand to preserve aromatics and freshness.

After gentle destemming and cold maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures. A spontaneous malolactic fermentation follows, and the wine is matured entirely in stainless steel to retain its lively fruit profile before final ageing in bottle.

In the glass, it presents a brilliant ruby-red colour with floral aromas of wild rose, violet, and iris, evolving into notes of cherry and raspberry. On the palate, it is light, dry and harmonious with a subtle minerality and refreshing finish.

Ideal with robust appetisers, pasta or rice dishes, white meat, or even flavourful seafood, this is a wine that thrives alongside everyday meals as well as relaxed summer gatherings.
