Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is the original expression from The Shed Distillery in County Leitrim, where founder PJ Rigney combines Irish craftsmanship with rare botanicals gathered from his travels around the world. Slow distilled in traditional copper pot stills, it blends Gunpowder Tea with oriental botanicals including kaffir lime, Chinese lemon, grapefruit, cardamom and caraway, alongside classic juniper. The result is a vibrant, complex gin with bright citrus, gentle spice and a long, refreshing finish, beautifully presented in its distinctive blue ceramic bottle. Named International Spirit of the Year by Wine Enthusiast in 2022, it has become one of Ireland’s most celebrated contemporary gins.
