With heady blueberry and raspberry fruit on the nose, the palate is complex with further flavours of star anise and black pepper, dusted with fine tannins.
These grapes are taken from three precious hectares on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, where the vineyards are classified as ‘Côte de Bouilly’ and whose hand-picked 50 year old vines yield perceptibly finer wines. Follows traditional carbonic maceration, before ageing in large oak foudres.
