This was a more style of Burgundy when first produced and many years later it is still holding its own. It was aged in lightly toasted barrels for 15 months and unfiltered. The nose has a light toast to it and well integrated spicy pungent red fruit nuances. On the palate its well structured and balanced. Fully integrated over the years very fine bright flavours still very present. Ripe red fruits such as strawberry and cherry on a very long finish.
