Pommard is well know in burgundy for producing some of the worlds best wines. This wine was aged in lightly toasted barrels for 16 months and lightly filtered. The nose has toast on it and prominent ripe red fruit aromas. On the palate its well structured and balanced with brilliant textures and silky smooth tannins. Fully integrated over years bright fruit flavours still very present. Ripe red fruits such as strawberry and cherry on a very long finish.
