Monte del Frà is a historic family-run estate located southeast of Lake Garda, in the heart of the Veneto region. With vineyards rooted in the rolling morainic hills of Sommacampagna, Monte del Frà combines generational expertise with a forward-thinking vision, crafting wines that express the unique character of their terroir through precision and care.

At Monte del Frà, sustainability is more than a commitment – it is a philosophy. Certified under the Italian integrated farming system (SQNPI). The winery prioritises local labour, recycled materials, and circular energy and water use. With ongoing renovations aimed at reducing environmental impact, the estate continues to innovate with ethical and sustainable winemaking processes. The Chiaretto is produced using traditional white wine vinification, with a short cold maceration on the skins for 24 hours, followed by static decantation and a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel.

This Chiaretto di Bardolino reveals a delicate, translucent pale pink hue. On the nose, it offers a refined bouquet of white flowers, red berries, redcurrant, melon, apricot, and lychee, lifted by a hint of white pepper. On the palate, it is dry, with medium acidity, a light body, and subtle flavours mirroring the nose, all leading to a clean, elegant and lasting finish.

Light and versatile, this rosé is ideal for a summer aperitif with friends. It pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, including fish, white meats, pizza, Asian and French cuisine, vegetarian fare, barbecues, Italian appetisers such as ham and melon or caprese salad, and cold cuts.

The Chiaretto has received excellent critical recognition, earning 91 points from James Suckling in 2024 and 91 points from Decanter in 2023, a testament to its freshness, finesse and broad appeal.
