This Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2006 has a deep dark red colour which reveals flavours of blackcurrant liqueur, and in the mouth it expresses an elegant and beautiful concentration. With a velvety long finale it conceals very round tannins. This wine could be already enjoyable, but it preserves a beautiful aging potential. It has 16 to 18 months in up to 70% new oak for its aging and a 78/22 cabernet sauvignon/merlot blend. Lots of cedar and tabacco play a massive part in this exceptional Bordeaux.
