With extreme elevation, limestone-rich clay soils, low rainfall, and significant temperature variations, the terroir naturally produces high-quality grapes. The age of the vines, combined with meticulous vineyard management, results in low-yield harvests that capture the essence of this rugged yet generous land. As one of the few self-sufficient wineries in Ribera del Duero, Viña Pedrosa maintains full control over its winemaking process, ensuring consistency and excellence.

The Cepa Gavilán Viña Pedrosa Crianza presents an intense cherry red colour with vibrant purple hues. On the nose, it offers an exuberant bouquet of ripe black fruit, such as blackberry and blueberry, layered over delicate spice and mineral undertones. The palate is oily and refined, with well-integrated, ripe tannins that provide structure and elegance. The finish is long-lasting and intense, echoing the wine’s rich fruit profile alongside subtle notes of vanilla and pastry.
