This Gavi is produced from only the best Cortese grapes from some of the older vines at the La Battistina estate. The wine is part-fermented in 2nd year barriques, and the rest in small tanks with extended lees contact. This gives the wine real depth of flavour and character. Aromas of citrus and stone fruit with light oaky notes. The palate has ripe orchard fruits and fresh balancing acidity with a long lingering finish.
