The year 2025 marks the debut of Bomberger’s PFG™ (Precision Fine Grain), a Kentucky Straight Bourbon crafted with extraordinary attention to detail at every stage of production.

The process begins with aging in new toasted and charred American oak barrels. Once fully matured, the bourbon is transferred to a second custom-made French oak barrel—precisely toasted and charred to strict specifications. These barrels are constructed from a blend of fine-grain oak sourced from the revered forests of Tronçais, Allier, Nevers, and Vosges. The wood is naturally air-dried for at least 40 months near the Charente River in France, where local environmental factors—humidity, microflora, and elevation—help develop unique characteristics in the wood. After seasoning, the staves are hand-selected and assembled into finishing barrels that enhance the final whiskey’s depth and complexity.

Following secondary maturation, the whiskey is bottled in small batches after undergoing the brand’s signature filtration process. It is released at 100.2 proof (50.1% ABV).

This bourbon pours a deep mahogany red. Aromas of burnt sugar, spice, and chocolate unfold into delicate floral tones. The palate is rich and layered, delivering a beautifully integrated medley of ripe fruit and warm spice, wrapped in sweet, toasty oak. The finish is full-bodied and luxurious, with a creamy mouthfeel and lingering notes of soft spice and dark chocolate.
