This 100% Tannat, more at home in Madiran, SW France, displays power and elegance. The nose is bursting with ripe aromas of black cherry, tobacco and anise, while on the palate a full and generous mouth feel is supported by ripe dark fruits, spice and toasted oak. Tannins are evident yet nicely integrated providing a supporting role to the ripe, mouth coating fruit. Enjoy with rich meat dishes such as game or casseroles.
