Originally called Asbach Uralt, Asbach original is a German grape brandy aged for up to 3 years in Limousin oak casks. It is very popular among ex British servicemen. The palate is mild and sweet, displaying a harmonious bouquet, with a taste of grapes and notes of plum and nut. Very fruity in character, tangy with a long, finish.
