Ukiyo Spirits celebrate the purity and precision of traditional Japanese distilling. Produced on the island of Kyushu from a base of distilled rice spirit, the range draws inspiration from the Japanese concept of ukiyo, meaning “floating world” – a philosophy centred on living in the moment and appreciating life’s fleeting beauty. Combining time-honoured craftsmanship with carefully selected botanicals, Ukiyo creates elegant spirits that reflect the character and culture of Japan.

Ukiyo Blossom Gin is inspired by the brief but celebrated sakura season, when Japan’s cherry trees burst into bloom and communities gather for Hanami festivities. Crafted from a base of Japanese rice spirit and distilled with 11 botanicals, including sakura flower and sakura leaf, the gin is infused with traditional ingredients such as juniper, mandarin and regional spices. Delicate cherry blossom aromas are captured through vapour infusion, creating a refined gin that balances floral elegance with bright citrus freshness.

The nose is fragrant and inviting, with notes of cherry blossom, juniper and sweet orange. On the palate, delicate floral tones are complemented by vibrant citrus, hints of Parma violet, coriander and gentle woody spice. Light, crisp and subtly sweet, the gin finishes smoothly with lingering blossom and citrus notes.
