Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel is a limited-edition collaboration between PJ Rigney of The Shed Distillery and internationally renowned Italian mixologist Bruno Vanzan, a twice World Champion bartender celebrated for his creativity and innovation. Bringing together PJ’s adventurous spirit and Bruno’s refined Italian influence, this expression combines Irish craftsmanship with Mediterranean elegance in a truly distinctive gin.

Distilled slowly in medieval copper pot stills, the gin builds upon the original Drumshanbo Gunpowder recipe of oriental botanicals, Gunpowder tea, kaffir lime and grapefruit. This special edition introduces Italian viola fig, laurel and Tuscan juniper, creating a layered and expressive spirit. The sweetness of the fig brings rich, jammy depth, while the laurel adds a delicate herbal freshness that perfectly balances the gin’s citrus-driven, spicy core.

The nose opens with exotic citrus and warming oriental botanicals, lifted by vibrant orange zest. On the palate, sweet fig notes intertwine with refreshing citrus, soft spice and herbal complexity, leading to a smooth, elegant finish with lingering juniper and botanical freshness.
